Most street parking meters in San Francisco operate from 9 am to 6 pm Monday through Saturday, so street parking on Sunday is free, except in the following areas:
- Fisherman’s Wharf
- The Embarcadero
- The Special Event Area around Oracle Park and Chase Center during events such as baseball and basketball games
