Jaguar Land Rover’s Slovakian car assembly plant is located on an industrial park outside the city of Nitra, some 95 kilometres east of the capital, Bratislava.
JLR opened the Nitra Manufacturing Centre in autumn 2018 to produce its Land Rover Discovery vehicles. Since September 2019, the plant also assembles the Land Rover Defender model.
The facility has a planned annual capacity of 150,000 vehicles a year.
