American entrepreneur Tony Hsieh died, aged 46, at Bridgeport Hospital, Connecticut, on November 27th, 2020, due to complications from smoke inhalation.
The former CEO of online shoe retailer Zappos was rescued by first responders from a fire in a shed at a waterfront home on Pequot Avenue in New London, Connecticut, in the early hours of November 18th, 2020.
Hsieh was initially transported to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital in New London before being transferred to Bridgeport Hospital’s Burn Center for specialized care.
