A park pass is not required to visit or stop in the city of Revelstoke itself as it is outside the Mount Revelstoke National Park boundary. However, a park pass is required if you stop, stay or hike trails within Mount Revelstoke National Park or the adjacent Glacier National Park. A park pass can be purchased at the Parks Canada office in the Revelstoke Post Office building on 3rd Street West, or at the Welcome Station kiosk on the Meadows in the Sky Parkway (open June to mid-October). A daily pass is good for entry to Mount Revelstoke, Glacier, Banff, Kootenay, Jasper, and Yoho National Parks. A park pass is not required for travel through Mount Revelstoke National Park on the Trans Canada Highway without stopping.
