A bronze bust of Catalan painter Hermenegildo Anglada Camarasa, mounted on a marble plinth, is located on the Pine Walk in Puerto Pollensa, Mallorca.
Barcelona-born Anglada Camarasa was prominent in the Post-Impressionism art movement, and moved to Mallorca in 1914, marking a shift in his work towards painting landscapes.
He lived in Puerto Pollensa for many years, except for a period during the Spanish civil war, and died there in 1959. His home in the town was was opened as a private museum from 1967 to 1989, and much of his works and personal effects were acquired by La Caixa Foundation and are displayed at the CaixaForum in Palma.
