Where was the car crash that killed Paul Walker?

Last updated November 29, 2020 by ZagBot Comment

Actor Paul Walker died in a car crash on the afternoon of November 20th, 2013, on Hercules Street on the Rye Canyon Business Park in Santa Clarita’s Valencia neighborhood.

40-year-old Walker, a star of the Fast & Furious film franchise, was a passenger in a 2005 Porsche Carrera GT driven by Roger Rodas, who also died in the crash. The pair had just left a fundraising event for Paul Walker’s charity, Reach Out Worldwide, at a car shop they both co-owned at 28309 Constellation Road.

The Porsche crashed into a concrete lamp post and came to rest against a tree before being engulfed in flames with Walker and Rodas trapped inside. Investigators concluded that the car’s speed at the time, estimated at between 80 mph and 93 mph (or 130 kph and 150 kph), was a primary reason for the crash.
