The 2013 season Super Bowl XLVIII was played at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on February 2nd, 2014 between the Denver Broncos and the Seattle Seahawks.
The Seahawks won, defeating the Broncos 43-8, and giving them their first ever Super Bowl victory. Seattle Seahawks linebacker Malcolm Smith was named Super Bowl MVP.
