The statue of racing driver Juan Manuel Fangio with his 1950s Mercedes-Benz W196 car stands behind La Rascasse in Monaco, on what is the final corner of the Monaco Grand Prix circuit.
The bronze statue is one of five replicas cast from Catalan artist Joaquim Ros i Sabaté’s original at the Circuit de Barcelona.
