Where does the Stowe Recreation Path start?

Last updated January 1, 2022 by ZagBot Comment

Stowe Rec Path starts at Lintilhac Park, behind Stowe Community Church on Main Street in Stowe Village, where there is public parking available.

The 5.3-mile (or 8.5-kilometer) paved path follows a scenic route, crossing the West Branch of Little River at various points, and ends at the Brookdale covered bridge on Brook Road off Route 108 (Mountain Road), near the Innsbruck Inn. There are also access points along the path, with parking, at:

  • Thompson Park on Route 108, opposite the Percy Farm Corn Maze.
  • Chase Park on Luce Hill Road opposite the Stonybrook condos.

Stowe Recreation Path is open year-round to walkers, wheelchair users, dogs on leashes, cyclists, runners, and rollerbladers, and in winter the trail is groomed for cross-country skiing.
