Real Betis Balompié football club plays its home games at Estadio Benito Villamarín in the Heliópolis district of the city of Seville, Spain.
Real Betis has played at the stadium since it opened in 1929, later gaining ownership in 1961 and renaming it after the club’s president, Benito Villamarín. In 1997, it was renamed Estadio Manuel Ruiz de Lopera, after the then-president of the club, but in 2010, members voted to restore the name back to Estadio Benito Villamarín.
With a 60,720-seat capacity, Estadio Benito Villamarín is Spain’s fourth-largest stadium, and the largest in Andalucía. Guided tours of the stadium are offered daily, except Sundays and official holidays.
