The Detroit Red Wings NHL ice hockey team plays its home games at Little Caesars Arena in Midtown Detroit, Michigan.
They moved to the newly-built arena in 2017, having previously played at Detroit’s Joe Lewis Arena, which was later demolished during 2019 and 2020. The Red Wings played their first regular season game at the new arena on October 5, 2017, against the Minnesota Wild, defeating them by 4–2.
The arena is shared with the Detroit Pistons NBA basketball team.
