Actor James Gandolfini died after suffering a heart attack while staying at the Boscolo Exedra Roma Hotel (now called Palazzo Naiadi) in Rome, Italy on 19th June, 2013. Attempts to resuscitate 51-year-old Gandolfini were unsuccessful and he was declared dead at the hospital.
The Emmy Award-winning actor was best known for playing New Jersey crime boss Tony Soprano in HBO’s television series The Sopranos.
