Where did Harrison Ford crash his plane?

Last updated February 22, 2020 by ZagBot Comment

Actor Harrison Ford crash-landed his vintage World War 2 era Ryan airplane near the 8th hole of Penmar Golf Course in Venice, California on March 5th, 2015.

An experienced pilot, Ford reported a loss of engine power shortly after taking off from Santa Monica Municipal Airport and was attempting to return to the airport when he crashed on the golf course, just short of the runway.

He suffered broken bones and gashes in the accident and was taken to UCLA Medical Center in Santa Monica.
