WNYC is located at New York Public Radio’s offices and broadcast facilities at Varick Street and Charlton Street in Hudson Square, Manhattan.
The station moved here in June 2008 having previously been based in the Manhattan Municipal Building in the Civic Center neighborhood since 1924.
WNYC shares the facilities with New York Public Radio’s other stations and media operations, including WQXR, New Jersey Public Radio, Gothamist, and the Jerome L. Greene Performance Space.
