The Columbine High School shooting occurred on April 20, 1999, in Columbine, near the city of Littleton, Colorado, United States.
Two twelfth grade students at Columbine, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, entered the school with multiple firearms and shot dead 12 students and one teacher. More than 20 others were injured in what was the worst high school shooting in US history at the time.
Harris and Klebold later turned the guns on themselves and also died at the school.
