University of Utah freshman running back Ty Jordan died, aged 19, of an accidental self-inflicted gunshot wound on the evening of December 25th, 2020. Police responding to reports of a shooting at 1109 South Avenue B in Denton, Texas, found Jordan suffering from a gunshot injury to his abdomen.
