Is there a ferry from New York to Nantucket?

Last updated January 29, 2021 by ZagBot Comment

During summer, Seastreak operates a fast passenger ferry between New York and Nantucket, via Oak Bluffs, Martha’s Vineyard, departing 4 pm on Fridays and returning 2:30 pm Sundays.

The New York City ferry terminal is at East 35th Street and FDR Drive on the east side of midtown Manhattan.

The crossing time to Nantucket takes approximately 6 hours 15 minutes, and the return sailing is around 6 hours 45 minutes. Bicycles can be carried for an additional fee at the time of booking, but pets are not allowed on board.
