Does New York City have a classical music radio station?

WQXR-FM is a classical music radio station licensed to Newark, New Jersey, broadcasting to New York City and North Jersey at 105.9 MHz FM, and streaming online.

The station is owned by the nonprofit New York Public Radio and broadcasts from their studios in Hudson Square, Manhattan via a transmitter atop the Empire State Building.

WQXR also reaches central and northern Westchester County on WQXW at 90.3 MHz FM, and has repeater transmitters broadcasting to Poughkeepsie at 103.7 MHz FM and Asbury Park at 96.7 MHz FM.
