Can trucks use the Holland Tunnel?

Last updated December 25, 2021 by ZagBot Comment

Two- and three-axle single-unit trucks can go through the Holland Tunnel in both directions.

Tractor-trailers and commercial vehicles with four or more axles are not allowed through the Holland Tunnel and should instead use the Lincoln Tunnel or George Washington Bridge.

The Holland Tunnel has a height restriction of 12 feet 6 inches (or 3.8 meters) and a width limit of 8 feet (or 2.4 meters), and trailers and towed vehicles are prohibited.
